Will I receive continuing professional education (CPE) hours for attending an IIA conference?

Modified on Mon, Sep 9 at 3:50 PM

When you attend a conference, you are eligible to earn continuing professional education (CPE) credits, depending on the number of sessions you attend. Attendance will be tracked via scanner at the door. The IIA’s educational programs are acceptable for fulfilling CPE requirements, which ensure that internal auditors comply with the specific standards on education in The IIA’s International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.

The IIA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: http://www.nasbaregistry.org/. Your CPE certificate will be emailed to you within 60 days post-conference to the email address used to register for the conference.
