1. What is the difference between CIA Certification Program eligibility window and the CIA Exam Registration authorization window?

Certification Program Eligibility Window: Candidates have three years from the date of program approval to complete all required exam parts and submit the required proof of experience.

Exam Registration Authorization Window: Once an exam registration fee is paid, candidates receive a 180-day authorization period to schedule and sit for the exam. Exam appointments may be rescheduled within the 180-day authorization period, subject to applicable policies and deadlines. A rescheduling fee of USD $75 may apply and is payable directly to Pearson VUE.
