Monitoring Requirements for Earning CPE Credit

The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) requires all CPE programs to include a monitoring mechanism that verifies participant engagement before awarding credit.

  • On-Demand Events: Participants must answer questions related to the program content. To qualify for credit, you must respond to at least 75% of these questions.
  • Live Events: To receive one (1) NASBA CPE credit, participants must attend the live session for a minimum of 50 minutes per hour and respond to at least three (3) poll questions during that time.
  • Webinar Events: To be eligible for NASBA CPE, you must attend at least 50 minutes of the live event and respond to at least 75% of the alertness checks. CPE credit will not be awarded for on-demand viewing. If you do not meet these minimum requirements, you will not be eligible to receive a CPE certificate.
