No additional requirements apply. Retired individuals may follow the standard annual certification renewal process. Maintaining IIA membership is optional but provides benefits such as access to free CPE opportunities and waived renewal fees when renewed on time. Learn more about IIA Membership Benefits.
Please note that IIA membership renewal and certification renewal are separate processes. Certification holders are not required to maintain membership to keep their certification active, except in UK & Ireland and South Africa.
